It’s at times like this where the church and its people can come together and reach their neighbors with support, love, and compassion in the name of Jesus.

A set of video blogs has been shared by Filipino beneficiaries in Compassion’s program. Each video speaks hope, provides current updates, and shows that church partners are still serving the children and families in critical ways.

“To all our sponsors, wherever you are, we thank you for allowing us to fight this battle knowing that we have you watching our backs. We praise the Lord for your lives and your generosity that continues even on our hardest circumstances.”

“But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” —Isaiah 40:31

Prayer

Jesus, we ask for you to go before the church. Let your followers act as you have, to reach the sick and the poor, to help those in need and to be selfless in their giving that all may see you through their actions. Amen.
